I was in an abusive relationship once.. he put me in the hospital 3 times and it was the third time that I finally decided I gotta get out.... I THOUGHT I LOVED HIM... but after the third time I realized he had anger management and he wouldn't change :( only I wasn't allowed to work and I didn't have any money.
one night he got drunk and passed out.. and I packed up what I could put int he car and ran away... Unfortunately I only had one tank of gas so I couldnt go far... but after sleeping in my car for 3 days... I found a job and a roommate situation that would let me pay as I went for the first month...
but if you get a chance see this Oprah story.... about a controlling and abusive boyfriend

Dear Misty, my boyfriend is physically abusive. On Monday, I ran down the stairs (thinking he's after me) and broke my foot. This is the third time he has been physically aggressive towards me. The first two times I forgave him but idk I can't now. HELPPP
