Dear Misty, I've been a performer for several years. I do a burlesque show but the town I moved to doesn't get it. Should I change my act or keep doing what I love?

I think you can keep doing what you LOVE but it may be BEST to adapt to your surroundings.... and tweek your act a bit.... so its more palatable to your new community.
Not only will you grow and expand as a performer but you will make more money that way..... and WHEN you feel the time is right you might be able to bring your old school act in on them... but yeah.... When in ROME...
