I am a Caucasian Drag Queen (new) and I have choreographed and practiced some songs by African American artists. I am about to do my first show, and it occurred to me that this might be offensive. I don't want upset anyone, but I love the songs. Advice?

NO NOT AT ALL..... You can do any song by anyone... Black white or other... the only thing I can think of that would be offensive is if did a show in BLACK FACE.... and that might be miss interpreted ... but then again... its ART.. and TRUE art causes a REACTION from its audience.... HOWEVER I personally would not do that... BUT I perform songs from black artists all the time.. and I even have a BLACK HISTORY MONTH THEME in FEB where EVERY girl will pay tribute to the BLACK DIVAS, and every girl will be doing a song by a black DIVA
