Hi misty, my name is jared from orange park florida, im 14 and i already know i wanna do drag. How should i start? I am very confused about almost all of it. P.s. you are my inspiration for drag and you are truely a role model for me! :^)

when I was in School... I changed my mind about what I wanted to be every year... one minute I wanted to be Miss America, and then I wanted to be a nurse etc.... BUT the most important thing you can do right now is STAY in SCHOOL and get GOOD GRADES. if you really do want to do drag... I'll give you some advice on what to study while in school to become a GREAT DRAG QUEEN. #1 DRAMA this will help with your stage presence and give you the basics of makeup. Take SPEECH and Debate club for public speaking is VERY important in a drag queens job. If you can take half days at Vocational school study either beauty school for more hair / makeup or business for everyone even drag queens need to know how to balance a check book / marketing and advertising etc.
