I stand in heels for four to six hours per show. After ever show my feet hurt a lot. Will in time I get use to this pain or will my feet always hurt a lot after a show? Do you have any tricks for reducing this pain?
I do not think you will EVER get fully used to this pain.. YOU will learn to tollerate it more.. but I dont think it will EVER go away :(
How do I find my confidence. I'm crippling shy with men. I see only my flaws. I too tall, too big, too clumsy. How do I just let go and be me.

I think I did a video on this previously... but YES I do think its possible... in fact I do not think that MOST Drag queens know how to dance....

OK so about the situation, i infected my 38yr old partner with HIV and so he feels destroyed. He feels like i roobed him, and i told him that i wanted to take care of him , but i don't know how to deal with the stress of the relationship.

Im sure right now he blames you.. but in reality it takes two to tango.. and if the two of you were playing with RISKY BEHAVIOR then the two of you are to blame.... Misty, why does it seem like when someone is in full drag they are much more desirable to "hotter" guys rather than outside of drag whether the "hotter" guys be straight or gay..I don't understand this. Are they just attracted to the character?

I want to start my drag career in pageants. And I'm concerned with the interview parts. I just have a speech impediment, with my R sounds and Double L sounds. How do you think I should handle this?
RELAX... Take a DEEP BREATH and TALK SLOW.. I THINK for the most part judges dont take points off for things you cannot control or cannot help.... (Example they dont take off points in evening gown for modeling if you have a wooden leg)
BUT FOR YOUR SPEECH... RELAX is the most important thing... THE MOST common thing a judge will write on a new contestants score sheet is RELAX and SLOW DOWN... the more nervous we get sometimes the FASTER WE TALK an then your speech impediment would be more pronounced.
SO dont beat yourself up before you start... Concentrate and talk slow.

What would you recommend to someone who has been told, as a performer in a group, that they are "difficult to work with" or don't take criticism well, and this has left the performer's self-esteem very low and questioning whether to continue doing drag?
I would go back to the person that said this and SAY THANK YOU.. it takes a BIG PERSON to confront someone with such a DIFFICULT topic... and ask them what makes you difficult.. and work on changing that...
but if you dont take criticism well it may be hard for you to hear this... but the only way we can change and grow is if we know what and how we n eed to change :)

I PERSONALLY use bonding glue instead of eyelash glue... mostly because its waterproof etc... :) and dries quickly :)

Dear Misty, i tried the bra size smaller, but only during mid show my bra snapped at the front oh the shame! i had to carry on though but i couldn't keep my arms that far apart so i could support the bra, is there anyway i can prevent this from happening?
You want it SMALLER than your comfortable size so that it doesn't ride up and down as you dance etc.... but you dont want it so tight that it breaks LOL

UGH... yeah im not the best with remembering everyone ... let alone names...
BUT If I really need to or want to remember a name I try to associate it with something.... Like there was a door guy I see every day... and His name is Joseph... SO I kept saying to myself His name is my Brother's Middle name etc...
BUT I also find that if you need to remember try to say it several times in your meeting to get it into your head with repetition
I also try to get people to introduce themselves to others so I can re hear their names etc LOL

Hey Misty!! So I've been chatting with a guy for a while and I really like him, but he is forbidden fruit because he is related to my cousin, on top of all this i met another guy who is everything I had ever hoped for but he stood me up, what should I do?
OK... If he is not RELATED TO YOU... I think he is NOT FORBIDDEN... even if he is related to your cousin.. I mean the only thing you would need to wrry about is when you break up and it becomes AWKWARD... you might still have to see him at family functions...
AS for the stood up... I guess he is NOT EVERYTHING... but in all fairness... did he h ave a good reason? or did he bother to explain.. if NOT ... IGNORE... MOVE ON :)
I'm a proud 20 year old gay male who does drag for fun. I don't plan on making this a career, but instead want to pursue a job as a Correctional Officer. However, I'm afraid of loosing my colorful identity because of the harshness of this field. Advice?
NO... I do not think you have anything to worry about... in that your two worlds do not have to collide .. but what I would worry about is becoming even more fem as a drag queen (walk / talk etc) and then being on the job and queening out LOL that might be bad
Have you ever recieved foreign currency or a fake bill as a tip while performing. I remember 1 time some A ho put fake coins in my tip hat&walked away when I used to perform on the streets of S.D., CA. I was reminiscing&wondered if it ever happen 2u?

there is a very popular young queen that i know that hates me calls me names threatens me that imma get beat if i say anything i want to stand up for myself but im afraid i will be alianated from the specific crowd im in how should i confron this?
THIS IS DIFFICULT... a lot of times queens think that if they TELL EVERYONE they are Fierce that suddenly or MAGICALLY they will become FIERCE. BUT I know this will be hard but TRY YOUR BEST to be nice to her when you see her, but try to avoid her if you can. and WHATEVER YOU DO.. DO NOT STOOP TO HER LEVEL and make fun of her etc... for it will make you look bad and it will FUEL her anger and hatred and give her friends a reason to hate you and talk bad about you.
SO BASICALLY... Im saying DONT stand up for yourself ... let her say whatever she wants about you... for the public will start to realize and see her insecurities etc shine through.
I just recorded a VLOG Tonight (Not sure when it will be edited) about How many Drag queens are Territorial and competitive and rude to the new girls to discourage them from getting better so they are not a threat to take their jobs / crowns etc...

YES... that is something that is VERY Important to having a FEMALE body... and you will notice that in the TS World sometimes you can tell which "GIRLS" started off drag queens and which ones are just men that decided to become women for ... Many times the Men that wake up one day and realize they are trapped in the wrong bodies... they FOCUS on the BOOBS and the Vagina... I know a TS that didnt even get boobs before she got the Vagina.. and she looks like a MAN, and has a mans body with a Vagina??? but the girls that start off on stage usually get their bodys and they usually end up looking more realistic.

Im pretty young and am almost sure i want to do Drag but instead of just performing, i want do it all the time (like a transexual but without the sex change stuff) but i dont know if its a good idea to start at my age. What age do you think would be best?
I have heard of TS KNOWING that they were born in the wrong body as young as 4. I personally wanted to be a girl when I was young, but not because I didnt like my penis or my body but because I wanted the attention of the cute boys. In my upbringing I thought I had to be a girl to be with a boy. I no longer want to be a TS, I like being able to be both. BUT watch my VLOG for my thoughts for you.
