I've been trying to get bookings in my city, but it seems damn near impossible. There are no bars around here with amateur nights, and only 4 bars with drag shows. I go out in drag to network, but I'm getting nowhere fast. What should I do?

Is it possible to balance an 8-4 day job and drag? Several bars in my area have late weekday shows (12am-1am) and I'd love to perform at them, but it seems nearly impossible to do both at the same time. Any advice?
